Jeffrey Medina, L.Ac obtained his education from University of Washington & a MSA (Masters of Science in Acupuncture) from Bastyr University. He then went on to study Nei Jing Acupuncture with Edward Neal, MD of the Xinglin Institute. Nei Jing Acupuncture is especially rare due to difficulty in translating and application of the original text.  The Nei Jing is the first book written on Acupuncture.  It is comprised of two sections, the Su Wen, and Ling Shu.  This book contains the foundation of acupuncture theory, diagnosis, pathology, and treatment.  If applied correctly, acupuncture can treat not only pain, but also chronic internal illnesses.

His 12 years of experience & on going studies of the Nei Jing have given him insight in treating difficult conditions that range from sleep disorders, infertility to even pre-cancerous skin lesions that caused the treating dermatologist to see improvements.

He believes that so often we accept abnormalities as normalities. Our western culture tells us that having a cold in winter time is "normal", and that insomnia - while not fun is also "normal." With Chinese Medicine, he is able to help heal these abnormalities and bring the body back into balance.
